Saxon Lodge accommodates holiday or travel groups within the lodge and specialise in hosting scuba diving and other tour groups such as whale tours, shark diving tours. (We have hosted a number of international film crews, including: BBC, ABC, Pioneer Productions for Discovery Channel who have "discovered" this unspoiled area of the Western Cape).

We offer a really good package for guests who want to dive with Great White Sharks and since we are not in the diving business, we give unbiased opinion and negotiate good packages for shark diving from cage or boat.
This area is known for outstanding Southern Right Whale sightings! These magnificent creatures return to Walker Bay in increasing numbers every year. A boat based Whale trip around Dyer Island (Marine bird sanctuary) and Geyser Rock, a Cape Fur Seal colony is an incredible experience that we can arrange with permit holders in the area.
We tailor our packages to suite each tour group’s specific requirements and therefore welcome your inquiry for quotation. We also have full conference facilities for small conferences and team building break aways!

Our restaurant is becoming known for serving the best seafood dinners in the area!
We offer a wide selection of other menu choices including steaks, pasta, curry bonazas, fresh salads and roast dinners. Our chef discusses each meal with guests and freshly prepares tailor made dishes to suite individual tastes!
For groups, we offer fish or traditional South African braais (Barbecue). We cater for special dietary requirements and have a good selection of Vegetarian dishes available on request.
